Photo Session with Grandma

Koby has become a true Sorenson Male - he likes to get his picture taken. Here are a couple from his photo session with Grandma.

Babies are born!

Samantha had babies and she had many! A total of 13 when a typical batch of babies is around 5 or 6. She was extremely large and miserable.

Koby hates chocolate. When asked what he wanted for his birthday cake he said he wanted Pumpkin Pie so we had pumpkin pie in August. He is really into sea life so Lana put blue food coloring in some Cool Whip and put assorted sea animals on top.

Samantha and Elijah's Wedding!!!

So we want Samatha to have babies so Elijah and Samantha are to be married so a ceremony was planned by Great Grandma Marie and Grandma Lana with much input from the Father of the Bride, Koby. Much disgust from Great Grandpa Don but everyone participated. Great Grandpa Ted was in charge of the music. There were smiles all around and Koby and his cousins and brother had a blast.

Spencer turns "8"

Spencer is totally into Calvin and Hobbes and so for his Birthday he wanted a SpaceMan Spiff cake... for those of you who don't know this is Calvin's alter ego when he escapes his life this is who he becomes

Main Street Mile

On one of the hottest days so far in our great state of Idaho Koby and Spencer participated in their first official race. As a side note Mom and Dad also participated. Pictures taken by Grandma S.

Bryan's Recent Accomplishment

Bryan recently attended a 5-day extensive course to become a Public Safety Scuba Instructor. It was taught by an ex-navy seal so it was emotionally hard as well as physically demanding. I'm happy to say that he passed... Phewww!! I feel safe with Bryan out on the boat!! The course was taught in Colorado by Dive Rescue International.

Now Bryan will be able to instruct his co-diving firefighters and he can teach anyone they don't have to be a public servant. He could teach you and me. I'm not sure how much general teaching he'll be doing but a great accomplishment for his resume (CV).

The parade comes to Eagle - the funnest part of the parade is the last part when those who come through have water and its a big water fight. Of course by the time this occurs everyone is hot enough that water is welcomed.

Running, Running... May 19th

On May 19th Lana completed her goal of running in a 1/2 marathon (13.1 miles). Unfortunately there were no individuals with cameras around to catch the event in progress.
Her time was 2:25:09.
